Stag Party, What to Pack?
With so much choice out there for stag parties, it can be a minefield preparing for the event. Freedom can relieve the stress with the planning and this post can help you decide what to pack. Sorted!
Whether you’ve booked an adventurous stag do, close to home or further afield, here’s a rundown of what you need to know:
Passport: This is a must have item if you're heading abroad to ensure your entry into the country. Obvious we know, but you don't want to be that friend who forgets theirs and has to miss the flight. That would really suck, wouldn't it? Also, if you’re lucky enough to look under 25, your passport will come in handy to get you into some bars and clubs.
Camera: It doesn't matter if you use your mobile or your digital camera; you're going to want to take some photos of your stag party. Don't forget chargers and power banks to help see you through the trip.
Selfie Stick: Gather everyone around and take the perfect selfie. Most selfie sticks cost under £10 and are simple way of capturing those perfect photos. Next task is to get them all uploaded to social media. Tag us @FreedomLtd on facebook, we’d love to see what you’re up to!
Toothbrush and Deodorant: This is a no brainer with no explanation needed (we hope!).
Trainers: Ideal for those of you who've booked city trips or for the morning after the night before. Trust us; your feet will thank you for them.
Itinerary: The lovely Customer Relations team have prepared your itinerary and have sent your email confirmations. Keep them to hand when arriving at hotels, bars and attractions. We’re a friendly bunch, so if you need a hand with your booking, send us a note on
events@freedomltd.com.
Your favourite hangover cure: Sometimes, only sometimes, a few of us might have that one too many shots or beers. Ensure you have all of your hangover remedies for the morning after. We’re sure a few of them should include a ‘don’t try this at home’ warning!
Fancy dress: Fancy dress is definitely like Marmite. Some people love it and some people hate it. We enjoy dressing up here at Freedom Ltd HQ and we think the funnier the better!
Organise your costume ahead of time to prevent getting stressed the night before your trip. If you don't want to go whole hog, why not get some matching t-shirts created instead?
FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
How do you make a stag do special?
Go for the hassle-free option, don't waste hours planning, only to end up with a full-time job sorting out payments from guys you might not know to suppliers you have never used before. That's our job, you simply pick the best activities / accommodation and leave us to get it sorted. Then sit back and take all the credit.
Do you pay for the groom on a stag do?
It's quite common that the stag doesn't pay for his place on a stag do. Let's face it, he will be dishing out the dosh for you guys to eat and drink at the wedding very soon. Freedom will pay for your groom if you have 15 or more stags.
