Imagine zooming around a track in a small, nimble kart, but with a twist... instead of just navigating the course as quickly as possible, the goal is to execute controlled slides, or "drifts," through corners.
The karts used in drift karting are often modified to make drifting easier. They may have slick rear tires, a lower centre of gravity, and adjustments to the engine for optimal power delivery.
You need all your driver's skill as you balance speed, steering, and throttle control to initiate and maintain drifts while maneuvering through the track.
Go burn some rubber.
