Hen Rum Masterclass with Meal in Portsmouth

Portsmouth Rum Masterclass with Meal sounds like an amazing experience for rum enthusiasts! Under the guidance of a Rum Expert, not only will you discover the origins and history of rum, but you will be treated to insights into the distilling and aging process. You will be enjoy 6 tastings from a range of interesting rums from the categories of White, Dark, Golden, Aged, Spiced and Navy (and possibly some flavoured). Tastings notes of each will be explained, allowing you to fully appreciate the subtleties from each of the tastings

1. Tasting Note sheets will be completed during the masterclass
2. Certificate issued
3. Kilner jars of the spices and sugar cane will be showcased

To finish – you will be treated to the making of a rum cocktail – Dark & Stormy followed by a Rum Quiz!
Tastings are complemented with some tasty nibbles (nuts) and the option of adding in your meal of choice from our Academy Menu.
