Being closer to the waves, Newquay bodyboarding offers you a great sensation of speed and exhilaration - the goals come much more quickly than with stand up surfing. Bodyboarding is 100% fun for all ages and abilities; within an hour you can be "out back" catching the unbroken swells with the experienced surfers, learning moves like barrel rolls, cut backs and tube rides.

Whilst it's easy to learn the basics with bodyboarding, the top end moves can take a life time to master. The sport offers something for even the least likely of wave riders.

Hen Notes

We can accommodate silly costumes for hens if you want to bring one (contact us for advice).
Open to complete novices - entry level to this sport is not as physically demanding as surfing and guarantees all will catch waves.
Groups under 10 people will be charged at £30 per person.

Who can learn to bodyboard?
Literally anybody, as long as you can swim. The lessons are pitched at a suitable level for each person's ability. Our coaching caters for complete novices that have never been in the sea before all the way up to professional standard riders. Bodyboarding is all about fun, so holds few boundaries to age or fitness.
Our instructor team include the British Team Coach and the former European number one.
