Cornwall's answer to the Highland games. Our arena - the golden sands of Fistral beach.

Newquay Goofy Games groups are split into teams and take part in a selection of California Beach Style games related to surf skills and lifeguarding. The challenges are mainly physical but have aspects of problem solving as a group. They include a paddle relay race, the surfboard tunnel, the lifeguards flag sprint, ultimate Frisbee, beach volleyball and Aqua Targets - our test of throwing skill and nerve to decide the winner.

Each team is assigned a minimum of one instructor (who is a trained lifeguard and surf instructor) to put the team through their paces.

Birthday Notes

Open to none swimmers to take part in beach games.
Games can be flexible to suit physical standard of each group. You can shower off back at our centre and prepare for the next part of your weekend.
We can accommodate silly costume for stags or hens if you want to bring one (contact us for advice)
Prizes for winning team including bottle of bubbly and winners jersey t-shirt for you to wear for the rest of the weekend.
Elements of lifeguarding, bodyboarding and surfing skills are learned.

“Goofy games 30th birthday” I booked goofy games for a family 30th birthday. From the outset the sales and admin team were fantastic and so helpful and accomodating. Any queries were responded to and resolved within a day. The games were great fun. I was worried as we had 3 children aged 10 and under so thought there may be some they wouldn't be able to do but they managed to do everything. The spectators had a good time laughing at all of us too!
