Chocolate Making Manchester Hen

Chocoholics have mastered the art of multitasking: they can eat chocolate while thinking about eating more chocolate. Be prepared for a deliciously indulgent journey.

We're talking Manchester Chocolate Making heaven. With your own giant chocolate slab you'll make and decorate some delicious chocolates, these are just for you unless you want to share with those at home. Then a little team work is required as you work together to make some cream ganache and get piping some truffles into whatever shape you decide... yes we are expecting some rude examples!

There will be plenty of decorations for you to use, including strawberry curls, white chocolate flakes and honeycomb.

You all get to make around 15 chocolates, plus your giant chocolate slab. And we'll organise a goody bag to take your chocolates home... if they last that long!

Hen Notes

Workshops can be held at your own home - both within and beyond Manchester. Price can be quoted for this service.
You will also be able to personalise your chocolates using your chocolate utensils and an assortment of decorations.
The 90 minute session is not exclusive and depending on your group size you may join with another group.
Sessions can take upto 30 people.

Timings

Length of activity: 2 hours.
Workshop takes place on Saturdays only at 11:00 and 15:00.
Large groups of over 25 can have an exclusive event at a time to suit.

Locations

We run our workshops from various venues in Manchester. The venue will depend on group size, workshop type and availability. All our venues are located centrally and offer a wonderful ambiance for the chocolate making.

Chocoholics Dream - Truffle making 10 of us went to the Chocoholics Dream day for a Hen party. Overall very pleasant and we came away with lots of chocolate spoils! Nice intro about chocolate making, truffle techniques and lots of nice chocolate to play with. 1.)I would recommend that aprons are supplied. I DID ASK IN ADVANCE, but was told everything I needed would be supplied - no. No matter how neat you try to be, the chocolate & cocoa powder finds its way on your clothing. 2) Play more appropriate background music - sad & gloomy love songs when celebrating a pending wedding put a cloud on things. We all noticed it. 3)a little more attentiveness from our host. We didn't need babysitting, but we were left alone for long periods, tricky when supplies need replenishing, or if you had questions. Some of us would have liked to ask more about chocolate techniques and having an expert there was an opportunity.
