Take a walk up the Royal Mile, stopping in various shops and bars along the way until you find yourself at the foot of Edinburgh Castle. Looking over the fabulous City from two sides you'll see the delights on Princes Street to one and the cobbled road near the Grass Market to the other. Take public transport into Edinburgh. Either by plane and jump on the Airlink directly into the centre or take the Train in Edinburgh Waverely. This option will take you right into Princes Street .
