Freedom are pleased to be in a strong position despite this unprecedented time for the travel industry. Our customers money is placed in a Fully Bonded HSBC Client Account until after you have enjoyed the weekend or activities you have booked, so take confidence that you are protected and in
safe hands. Other weekend companies have not been so careful and are no longer trading leaving customers in a very difficult position.
Questions & Answers...
I am due to travel in 2022, what should we do?
Your booking is still in place and still going ahead as planned. You and your group should continue to pay for the weekend as normal by the balance due date. Group leaders only can contact us via your Freedom VIP area or by emailing
events@freedomltd.com. Response times may be a little slower than normal so please be patient.
A member of my party have tested positive/been required to self-isolate as a close contact?
In case you or a member of the group tests positive for Covid-19 or are contacted by NHS Track and Trace and unable to travel, please notify us. If the event is able to go ahead as planned, we unfortunately would not be able to offer refunds on any monies paid as per the agreed booking terms. We may be able to offer a name change free of charge if there is someone who is able to take their place or supply required information to assist with an insurance claim.
Can we postpone our weekend to a later date?
As per booking terms and subject to availability, you can postpone your weekend anytime up until the balance due date 6 weeks prior to travel for Package weekends or 12 weeks prior to travel for Party House bookings. The initial per person deposits paid will be lost but any money paid over this deposit can be moved to new booking. We will work hard to ensure price of event are the same but seasonal variations may lead to a price change for which we will notify you before booking is changed.
My final balance is due, should I pay as normal?
Yes, if your weekend balance due date passes without payment you will put your booking at risk and lose everything you have paid to that point. It is important to remember that if your balance payment doesn’t reach us by the balance due date, we will have to treat the booking as cancelled by you to avoid being beholden to pay contracted partners. You will not be entitled to any refund.
We have an overseas booking, but the country we are travelling to requires all group members to be vaccinated?
A countries ‘rules of entry’ is not a significant change to travel and doesn’t impact your actual time on holiday. As your package is able to go ahead as booked, no refund would be due if your destination requires vaccination as a term of entry. However, Freedom booking terms do allow for a postponement to a later date or a change of location (subject to availability).
Should I book my weekend or wait?
Book early
With high pent up demand from new bookings, along with bookings postponed from the past 2years and going ahead this year, we advise booking
very early. The best prices, options and availability for 2022 and 2023 weekends are going fast, so booking early secures best prices!
