Stag Beer Goggle Football in Cambridge

Cambridge Beer Goggle Football is 5 a-side but minus the co-ordination, skill or depth perception that you might be used to.

Our team will arrange everything including the venue (either indoor or outdoor), footballs, goals and the Binocular glasses, or as we call them Beer Goggles.

After an initial safety briefing, during which you may even be given a couple of helpful tips on how to get used to the feeling that 'you've had one too many', it's time to take to the pitch. First up its a few drill style games as your shooting, dribble and running is put to the test, Trying to run in a straight line is hard enough, but by all means try a Cruyff Turn or a Rabona...your group could do with the laugh. You might even find that the mate who for years has talked about just how good he is at football, loses the cockiness after he air kicks for the 3rd time.

After these games it's time to split into teams and try your hand at some small sided games, where any footballing ability is thrown out the window. Navigating cones is hard enough, let alone the opposition moving around you. Unsurprisingly 1-0 is the most popular score in these games, but not for lack of trying. However what is for sure is that the memories will make up for lack of goals.
